I love the flexibility of working from home. Knowing I can drop the kids off at school and hang around to talk to the teachers without the 9 am start time looming is wonderful.
I really appreciate being able to keep the kids home if they are sick and not stressing about taking time off work to look after them. It’s the whole reason I pursued a home business.
We all know there are huge benefits to working from home – but there are challenges too.
5 Challenges of Working From Home
Today, I want to share some harsh realities about working from home.
One needs to weigh up the pros and cons of working from home before they make the leap. It’s definitely not all roses and unicorns being a work from home mama.
1. Loneliness
I’ve gotta admit, I loved working in an office. I had a great team and we had a lot of fun at work. We’d often go for drinks after a hard day at the office. Dropping out of that environment when I had my son was very hard on me.
I’ll go so far to say it nearly drove me to depression (combined with being a new mummy) and I still think of my corporate office days as some of the best days of my life (is that weird?).
Solution: What has really helped me is finding my tribe online. I’m in lots of Facebook groups for bloggers, digital marketers and other parents who work online.
These groups have been a lifeline for me and allowed me to build genuine connections with people who understand the business.
One blogger buddy who lives just down the road from me and another one of my blogging besties lives in Tanzania (but funnily enough was actually born in NZ – small world, huh).
2. Being at home
Haha, I know what you’re thinking. This crazy lady writes about working from home but one of her challenges of working from is being at home – she’s lost the plot.
Hear me out. I love my wee house. But being in the same place day in, day out can get tedious. Since I’m so obsessed with growing my online business, I’ll often sit down at the kitchen table to work immediately after school drop off, and not leave my chair until 2.51pm.
Solution: I’ve taken to working away from home at least one day each week. I’m not quite at the level of being able to pay for a co-working membership, but the library, a cafe or even a park on a sunny, wind-free day works fine.
We’re very lucky to have a free coworking space in Christchurch (check it out here if you’re in the area) that I have used occasionally. I find it much easier to focus on the work when I’m surrounded by other people working.
3. People just dropping in
Some people seem to think working from home means not working at all. These people often knock on the door for a cup of tea at random daytime hours.
I don’t really have a solution to this, but I reiterate that certain days are my work days and that I’m not available for chats during these times.
I’ve considered parking my car around the corner so no one can see that I’m home, but that seems drastic.
Setting very clear boundaries (or even leaving a work timetable with your loved ones) is necessary to give you the time you need to work – especially if you’re trying to build an empire in the limited time between school dropoff and pickup.
4. Distractions
If you’re the type to get easily distracted, you might struggle with working from home.
I was quite easily distracted in my office jobs but always got the work done. Now that I work for myself, I can stay on task and get sh*t done because my income depends on it.
Solution: I like to pack myself lunch when I’m doing the kids lunches so I don’t spend 30 mins thinking about what to eat for lunch.
If I get sidetracked I give myself grace because I work hard, but I’m definitely aware of my limited time now.
5. Never being able to switch off
You never really stop working, when you work from home (especially if you’re self-employed).
There is always another email you could reply to, or a webinar you could watch while prepping dinner.
I don’t think being obsessed with your business is a bad thing, but there have been times I’ve had to check myself. I might be ignoring the kids so I can get one last image uploaded.
Or sitting them in front of the iPad while I wrap up a project. That is not OK.
I’m now trying not to work when the kids are home from school and less on the weekends.
I know working less will slow my growth, but kids grow up fast and I want to remember this time fondly.
I hope I haven’t put you off pursuing a work from home job or business idea. It’s absolutely worth pursuing, but just remember that working from home in itself won’t give you the freedom you crave.
But the long game of passive income from an online business is definitely worth all the struggle and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Do you work from home? Any challenges you’d like to share?
Like it? Pin it for later

I had heard about Greedy Mentor today, from someone who joined my alternative program and told me their bad/scam experience with it (I’ll post their review shortly).
This led me to look it up and I have not seen anything positive about it, the general consensus is that it’s not trustworthy. So let me go over why that is…
First of all, here’s a few honest (3) things I need to clarify:
1) I could not find the official site of Greedy Mentor, so therefore I could not even see the page, nor join it (I probably wouldn’t even do it if I could). Perhaps it’s no longer up (this happens typically with scam or fake sites).
2) Everything I have to write in this review is based on the experience of the person who joined my other program and told me about it, as well as the vast numbers of blogs I used to research this program.
3) Based on everything I have heard, the conclusion I’ve come to is that Greedy Mentor is not a recommended program and it looks to be a massive high ticket coaching scheme.
What this means is that they get charge you to join it, then up-sell you for expensive coaching training to make money online, and the price is well into the $1,000’s.
The quick review of Greedy Mentor:
Creator: Meaghan Harper.
Price: $67/month with one huge up-sell that person told me about ($2,500!). Being that he wasn’t selling me anything, I had no reason to NOT believe him…
What is this program? Supposedly it’s an online marketing training program which leads into coaching to make money with that program.
People are told there’s a limited amount of space for this program to join in an effort to get them in fast, but I haven’t seen anything positive from this…
Overall Rating:1 out of 10 stars. There literally is NO positive evidence that this program is real or works. I know it exists (or did exist), but as an actual online marketing coach who has seen schemes like this, I don’t believe it’s a legitimate program at all.
Recommended? NO!
Alright, so let me share with you that story…
Like I said earlier, the only reason I even heard about Greedy Mentor was thanks to someone who found my site, joined the legitimate program I suggested, and then contacted me on my profile through it.
Here is his testimonial regarding Greedy Mentor:
Although I blocked his name and profile picture (for his own safety), this is a real person who contacted me and told me about this whole program.
Afterwards, I took to Google and started researching this program to get more info, and after reading several blogs which all basically said the same negative things, connecting it with my experience in how much I know about online coaching schemes, I had a pretty clear picture about Greedy Mentor…
Here is the clear picture:
There are many make money online type programs which pitch huge dreams, easy money and fast money to you. They get you in with those promises and then most of the time, right after you buy it, the first major high ticket up-sell hits you and in regards to this program, it is a coaching up-sell.
The message they are sending is that you need a coach and you need to pay top dollar for him/her to help you succeed. Well whatever happened to that initial promise that got you to join the program? Was that just an empty promise? Most likely…
You see this is how many of these programs operate and how they trick people to join them. One of the best ways to find out if you’re been had is to examine what you get AFTER you join…
If you were promised a lot of stuff, signed up, didn’t really get much, but were then instead hit with an up-sell, a big one at that, run, run away folks. You’ve just been scammed.
Final Rating: Greedy Mentor.
Red Flag
1 out of 10 stars. Based on all I’ve seen, there is too much negative stuff about this program. Based on what I saw, it does seem like there’s a greedy person behind this program who is preaching about their mentoring service and I see no justification to trust them.
3 reasons you don’t need to pay so much for coaching (and what you should do):
1) Well firstly, based on that review from the guy I showed you, he was never even told about that up-sell until after he joined. This is a form of trickery, is totally unacceptable and is a sign that this trickery won’t end. At that point, I would never trust the program and would get my money back ASAP.
2) Most coaching programs, even the legitimate ones cost WAY too much to try. That $2,500 figure the person cited is no surprise to me, and why in the world does someone deserve to charge so much when they used trickery to sell it to you in the first place?
There’s legitimate people out there who justifiably can charge this much to coach people, but they first need to earn that privilege. People who have a good reputation, are known to be successful coaching experts can reach that position, but in this case, we’re looking at a program that used trickery to get you, so that doesn’t make me trust them at all.
3) Finally, and most importantly, having been through all of this for years, here’s something I can tell you…
You can get coaching from me, a real online marketing expert and I would never charge you this much for it (details). That same gentlemen who first sent me his review of Greedy Mentor was also someone who joined my recommended program (with which I include my personal coaching with) and he is a happy client right now.
That same program is free to try and yes that does include my actual coaching. There is an up-sell (no surprise, just giving you a heads up), which is $49 a month and no crazy prices, but all that stuff is optional.
Check out the full details of the program that teaches you making money online like it taught me and get my coaching included here:
One final thing. Regarding the “creator” Meaghan Harper, I had heard from the blogs I researched that she wasn’t real and her picture and name was used in other similar, get rich quick programs.
I am saying this because if you see other programs with her name on them, do let me know about it in the comments below so I can personally investigate it and potentially warn people about it if it’s true.

If you didn’t already know, JVZoo, a popular internet marketing platform has it’s own ranking system where it tells you which of it’s vendors is most successful. This is their best (or top) sellers list.
As an internet marketer, which is what I assume you are if you’re reading this post, my guess is that you’re probably wondering how money can be made off this list. I’ve got several methods to share with you regarding that which I have used on my own website to make decent money.
Here is the official page within JVZoo where you can see the list of best sellers. This also updates so it’s always going to be a fresh source of seeing which programs are hot.
Although I am not a big fan of this place in general, mainly because of it’s poor vetting system which has allowed way too many poor quality vendors and programs to be released there, the fact of the matter is that it’s still a huge network and the methods I will share here work to make money with it, even if you are not a fan of this place.
This is how this all works:
There’s many popular and influential internet marketers who create product after product, release it on this very network, and notify people about it beforehand on websites like Muncheye.com.
This allows them to gain affiliates which will then go and review the product, and occupy Google’s search results for the product’s name, so when people Google the product name, those reviews pop up and the vendor/affiliates both make sales. This is also called product launch jacking.
Anyway, the point here is that overtime, the products which make the most sales land on that top sellers list. And it’s publicly available for viewing.
Here’s 3 ways you can utilize this top sellers list:
1) Pick out one or more products, review them yourself and let Google rank it.
The top seller list JVZoo provides is divided into 3 sections:
Daily, weekly and 30 days (monthly).
What I typically do is start with the best sellers in the past 30 days. Why? Because those have shown to be more consistent with sales. There’s many vendors who release products in JVZoo’s marketplace over and over who have large email lists and/or joint ventures with other vendors who upon release do an email blast and it basically inflates the sales ratings for a particular day, which is why if I look at a 30 day report in the top sellers list, I’ll know the product is more likely to last and get long term attention (and sales).
Plus there’s tons of programs that can land quite easily on the top daily sales in general, but to have that same program do it for a week or even a month is a much more difficult task.
Those which do, deserve your attention, your review and possibly your recommendation.
The way I go about it is, I pick out the programs which sound easiest to understand, because those typically resonate with most people looking for internet marketing programs online. Here’s an example:
And by the way, I suggested the same strategy for picking programs to review in Muncheye. The advantage there is that you can find and review programs early before they are released, but the disadvantage is that you won’t know if it sells well until it is released and on the market for awhile, and often you may end up being wrong.
Once I reviewed these programs, I’d move up to the top weekly sellers, pick out the ones which sound best there, review those, then onto the daily ones.
With this list being updated all the time, you can bet you’ll have an endless supply of internet products to review. You can choose to be an affiliate and promote it OR do what I do which is recommend better programs, like Wealthy Affiliate, in almost every single instance.
I do this because as I said earlier, most products on JVZoo are of poor quality and if I review something, I want to make sure it’s good enough to recommend. Because this is often not the case, I always tell people about Wealthy Affiliate and how it’s much better. By the way, you can also become an affiliate there. Learn more.
2) Use Bing Ads to drive traffic to your page.
One of the coolest things about reviewing products on JVZoo is that if you use Bing Ads to drive traffic to your review, it will be EXTREMELY cheap. I get about $0.05 cents a click on the products I write reviews on, then set up Bing Ads for. Yes it will cost money, but considering that you’d only spend a dollar for every 10-20 clicks means you have A LOT of space to spend money and potentially profit very well.
One of the other reasons using Bing ads to review JVZoo’s products (the best sellers) is recommend, is because there’s many reviewers out there (product launch people) who review the product before you do and rank high on Google for that product’s keyword, thus making it tough for your review to outrank theirs, or at least it takes too long to outrank them.
However, time and time again, I constantly see that these same people are neglecting to use Bing Ads to drive traffic to those same reviews.
Considering that it’s tough for your site to outrank them, and how often that may be the case, why not use Bing Ads to go around that competition issue? I 100% recommend you do. And here is a good way to use this method.
3) Collect an email list, and hold off on selling.
While people who look at internet marketing products are generally ready to be buyers and that’s when it’s best to sell the product to them or a better option, sometimes, you can get away with building an email list off the popularity of a top selling product on JVZoo and use that to make sales down the line.
For this, it is highly recommended that you understand email marketing and how to convert people who give you emails into sellers, but one angle I suggest using if you decide to go this route is reviewing the hot selling product and if it’s not good, showing people a better way, that’s free, which will give you their email.
Then you can slowly start to build up a funnel where the person who gave you their email starts trusting you more, which can lead to you selling other products down the line, over and over and even perhaps selling your own.
My final thoughts:
Most products sold on this network are one time buys and the affiliates who promote those products, even if they make a sale, don’t really go beyond that. And the real winner in that exchange is the vendor, because they don’t just make a part of the sale thanks to the affiliate, but they also get the buyer’s email to sell them later on. So over time, they will make more money off the lead, not you.
Why not leverage this, review hot selling programs on JVZoo, but if they aren’t good, showing people a better way?
For a very long time, I’ve seen how low quality many programs are on JVZoo and how many people get stuck in the web of one program being released after another, each which promises it’s own riches, and each of which fails the customer.
I very much dislike that cycle and this is why I steer people away from buying JVZoo products and getting involved with Wealthy Affiliate, because it is there that they get results. Of course, before I do that, I review the program I found on JVZoo and decide if it’s right to promote WA or not.
Either way, I hope that the tips I shared here on how I use this approach to make sales though JVZoo has helped you understand how you can do it too.
Also one more note…
If you are someone who is trying to make money online, but aren’t into the make money online niche, which is what JVZoo centers around, then I wouldn’t use this strategy.
I would instead learn to build an online business via a passion you have which is outside the internet marketing realm and again, Wealthy Affiliate will teach you this. It’s one of the few online marketing programs that actually does this right.

I just tried getting Cash Money Sites and what I experienced wasn’t exactly a legit thing, and may have been a scam. Let me explain what happened in this review.
First of all…
The way I found out about Cash Money Sites was through a suspicious website.
Then we have the claims that it’ll show you 5 ways to make money online and other methods of generating $1,000’s.
The only reason I decided to buy this program for the $37 it was advertised for was because it was said that this program was connected with Clickbank. Now you may or may not know about Clickbank, but it’s an awesome organization that I’ve done business with for years and purchased products from.
Whether or not you buy something from there that you like or don’t like, they will ALWAYS refund you without a problem if you have any issues or just want that refund. Now knowing that this program was connected with Clickbank, I felt safer making the purchase and in hindsight, I had to refund it, but I’ll get to why later…
So why exactly did I choose to return Cash Money Sites?
There’s several reasons:
1) This program asked me to contact a phone number after purchasing the product to “confirm” I was legit. This is so outrageous because after buying the program, and using my credit card, I had already confirmed who I was:
In my professional opinion (Yes I am an online marketing professional, but I’ll get to that later), this whole “call us” is a stunt to get you to buy coaching or other up-sells.
I have NEVER in all my years of buying internet marketing programs had to pay and not be given access to anything unless I called them first, this is nonsense.
2) The next clues which led to me running to Clickbank support asking for a refund, was that there were links on the very same page (the ones asking me to call the number), which led me to a hosting site.
And when I did, I realized exactly what was going on…
Here’s what Cash Money Sites really is…
It is a program (scam) that gives you the impression that by buying it, a magical, profit generating site will be created for you, but the site itself is already questionable because once again, in my professional experience, programs which do the exact same thing this program is doing, are scams, they are just trying to get you to buy a hosting account, which costs monthly and fills up their wallets monthly.
I didn’t see the website that I was supposed to get, because I’d need to purchase the hosting and call that number first, and I am avoiding that in every way I can because I know the hole it leads down.
Luckily I have no fear in getting my money back because again it’s all associated with Clickbank.
Now I do have to note real quick, that I’ve been seeing these scam programs show up on this network more and more lately and this is not good, they are soon going to look like Clickbetter which is a similar organization, but one that truly went down hill after they started approving too many scam programs to sell on their network.
Ok, I’ve said enough, time to show you what works:
Ok so let’s begin with this:
Cash Money Sites is said to be a program which generates a “profit producing” page for you. Well in my experience, letting a company or person make you a page with these promises is a BIG mistake, because unless you know marketing or how to operate it, you won’t get answers to that unless you pay more, that’s been my experiences with similar programs.
But the idea of having your own profit generating page is possible, but the thing is, you need to learn how to make it yourself and not outsource it to a mystery man or program to do it for you.
And as long as you do this through a good training program that I will show you, I promise you, that this course is the way to see success, and it’s also the course that costs least:
Final Rating: Cash Money Sites.
0 stars
Red Flag
0 out of 10 stars. I saw enough, quickly enough to know what I was getting into and I got out ASAP. Thank you Clickbank for being a dependable way to retrieve my money if I run into scams like these, but MAN, please do a better job of scanning these programs on your network, otherwise, they are going to take you down…
My final thoughts:
I really hoped I could see some training from Cash Money Sites, it would at least justify a closer look and possibly a better score, but with no training offered, only promises of a profit generating site “only” if I call a questionable number and get hosting, has always turned out to be a scam in my experience.
I know, believe me because this strategy is used by many scam sites and even if this program is NOT using that strategy, seriously, you guys (the creators of that program) need to rethink your marketing, it just pushed me away as soon as I saw a “call us” number, that has ALWAYS turned into a sales call and I’m not risking putting my number on your list or the possibility of you sharing it with other companies and having them solicit me (which also happens).
Anyway, with that rant over, as you can see, I have said a lot about my experiences with these programs. I encounter them a lot and I know the “M.O” they work under. So in this review, I gave you my warning about Cash Money Sites and what I personally thought of them.
One final thing (About Cash Money Sites):
After I made the $37 purchase, I was taken to an up-sell for $197, which I didn’t want to buy, but I right clicked the “purchase” button and it automatically charged me the $197. Good grief, that was not a good feeling, but again, with Clickbank running things, I am 100% sure I will retrieve my funds.
Update: It did thankfully but the very act of this program charging me like this says a lot and it’s not good, in addition to the other things I’ve outlined in this review.
Another “good” update regarding this program is that apparently it is no longer up in the Clickbank marketplace (I looked but couldn’t find it). IF this is true, then it means there were enough complaints for this program to be removed from that network.

I purchased Aidan Corkery’s Instant Buyer Traffic today and in this review, I’m going to “expose” the method he is using to generate sales and if it actually works.
So…does it?
Well yeah, but it’s not exactly instantaneous, there’s a few catches you need to know about and they really pertain to the strategy itself and your level of expertise in making money online. If it’s little, I would probably not recommend this program to you, and if it is, you may very well be able to succeed with it.
Let me give you a quick summary of this product:
Name: Instant Buyer Traffic by Aidan Corkery.
Price: $14.95, with 3-4 up-sells.
What does it teach?
Overall, you learn to find people on Facebook that have purchased products from places like JVZoo, and Warrior Plus, then you befriend them, in masses, and do Facebook live events afterwards to only these people, in which you’ll sell to them other products from JVZoo and Warrior Plus, and/or collect an email list and then sell to them later.
There’s also training on doing webinars for these folks. In short, if it isn’t already clear, the people you befriend on FB that have purchased internet marketing products are the “instant buyer traffic”.
Overall Rating: 5 out of 10 stars. This is one of the few products I’ve purchased on Warrior Plus that’s actually good in both the training content and the actual way it teaches to make money online. It’s not a method for everyone, but it can work, although it’s not as quick as advertised in my opinion…
Recommended? Only if you are an intermediately successful online marketer. This is really who this strategy would work best for.
Otherwise, you need a more solid program that works for ANY level of online marketer and this is it:
Ok, let me “expose” the details of Instant Buyer Traffic:
I just explained the concept above, but in this section, I want to give you more details on this method. In internet marketing, there’s different levels of “buyers”.
Cold: They won’t purchase anything from you.
Warm: They are open to purchasing from you.
HOT: They are READY to purchase from you.
With this program, you are finding the HOT buyers, and those are classified as the easiest sales and yes, I will weigh in here and say that it is true that you want this class of people. I have to say, I agree with targeting these particular audiences because YES, they are the ones most likely to buy and I personally call them laser targeted traffic (audiences), but my methods of marketing to them is a little bit different.
But these classes of people are NOT easy to find. I’ve been doing online marketing for MANY years and most of the time, I’ll find the WARM audiences and turn as many of those prospects into HOT categories. I’ve rarely found the HOT ones, but when I have, it’s resulted in me making the most money I ever have in my online marketing career and I actually have a case study to explain this.
Aidan also recognizes this difficulty so his method of finding the hot audiences is through Facebook groups, specifically internet marketing groups, famous internet marketers and then seeing who their friends are, adding them to your friends list, and slowly building up their trust to eventually pitch them a product to sell.
Aidan provides a step-by-step formula to go from befriending a potential prospect, to making the sale with them. In the next section, I’ll go over the training in this program:
The training of Instant Buyer Traffic explained:
There are 6 modules all of which go into details about the things I just described, but this section is going to explain the step-by-step process a little bit more clearly in case you want to know more about this program:
Module 1:
You are told about the method, and are given 2 options to start:
You can use your existing FB profile, which Aidan explains is the recommended one. BUT he also covers a paranoia I personally had (which others do too) that when you start pitching internet marketing products, you DON’T want friends and family to see it.
Fortunately, there’s a way to block friends and family from seeing your promotional messages, so this problem is covered. You can move on with this step
The other option is making another FB profile, which is said to be against their terms, I didn’t get too much into this method, I believe in the first one more.
Module 2:
In this section, you get into the specifics of adding “buyer friends”, aka people who have purchased from JVZoo andWarrior Plus. The way you do that is you browse Facebook looking for popular internet marketing groups, famous internet marketers and fan pages of popular JVZoo and Warrior Plus products.
All you’re doing here is “weeding out” who the people are who purchased these products and considering them to be the “instant buyer traffic” you want to promote to. The goal set here is to get 1,000 potential prospects.
Module 3:
Here you get a more comprehensive live step-by-step tutorial to get the second module down (basically it’s module 2, but shown in specifics).
Module 4:
Here you get into the preliminary steps of what you’re going to promote to the audience you attract and befriend. And there’s 6 affiliate case studies provided to showcase that this works. And here are my personal affiliate sales and case studies.
Module 5:
Here you start to learn about how to pitch to these people you added. It’s important to note that you shouldn’t sell to them right away. Aidan explains how to warm up to them and gain their trust, and then explains how to set up a Facebook Live events and have those friends attend it, and that is where you pitch to them your offer.
The basic idea is this:
Find internet marketing friends.
Show them you are an authority in making money online.
Gain their friendship, help them out, communicate with them.
After you get their trust, invite them to attend your FB live event.
Sell them your affiliate offer there.
It’s actually brilliant in my opinion.
But understand this: This method is NOT instant, you NEED to find the people first, get their trust and then sell to them, and this will take time.
Module 6:
Here you get into other ideas of how to utilize this method. Instead of directly selling affiliate offers, you can build an email list and go into more advanced things like webinars and selling stuff through those areas.
Final Rating: Instant Buyer Traffic.
Green Flag
5 out of 10 stars. A legit program, but more practical towards intermediate and above internet marketers. I just don’t think beginners can replicate this strategy and get good results (but if you are a beginner, I would recommend this), simply because they won’t be trusted or have the authority in the potential prospects eyes to give good advice.
My final thoughts: Will this work?
There is a good chance it can, but you have to understand that your level and knowledge of internet marketing plays a HUGE role in all of this.
Let me explain:
On my website, I also sell internet marketing products. I don’t really focus so much on social media, but what Aiden recommends and what I do are similar things:
I find buyer audiences on Google, he finds them on social media. And when we do, we essentially go about the same approach to getting sales:
We show the person/s that we are an authority in our field, that they can trust us, and then we pitch them offers.
Now the key here is…
That you NEED to be an authority to do this, that’s my takeaway from this program. I simply do not think that if you try Instant Buyer Traffic’s approach and you’re a beginner, that you will succeed.
You simply won’t have the sales knowledge or proof to show potential prospects that you are a legitimate person to take advice from on making money online. If that is where you are at right now, don’t worry:
And if you are advanced, yeah this program is WORTH trying, but I still think a safer, more long term approach is using the same program I just recommended to make sales online.
Overall, I liked Aiden’s program, it was well researched, there was proof provided of the method working and the program was well organized and explained. It’s not my #1 recommendation (you already know what that is), but it’s still a good program.

I’ve had my doubts about anything Vick Strizheus creates and one of his older programs, which I will review today: High Traffic Academy (2.0) is certainly on that list, mainly because of:
Vick himself and the reputation he has in the internet marketing world that I’ve seen which is mixed.
The price of that program.
The numerous other programs he has that I also don’t particularly like and…
The fact that I believe (and will show you) how you can get visitors to your site through my personal methods that work, without having to pay the entry fee Vick charges. We may not have the same strategies, but mine do work, that I can guarantee you (not saying his don’t).
High Traffic Academy 2.0. The quick review:
Creator: Vick Strizheus.
Price: $997. Possible up-sells or promotions into one or more of Vick’s newer programs may be happening in it too.
What do you learn? It’s mainly training on getting a lot of visitors to your site through what sounds like traffic generation methods not many know about.
This I personally believe is nonsense because if there really are such hidden gold mines of visitors, believe me, Vick wouldn’t be the only person talking about it. And you know what?
And in my experience, the best methods are still the most obvious ones. I’ve made my income through that and it works just fine (SEO, PPC ads through networks like YouTube, Bing, Pinterest, ect…), even in 2019. I’ll be giving you my personal gold mines of how I get tons of visitors to my sites below with proof that it works (no charge to you!).
My overall Rating:0 out of 10 stars. The truth is that I did not buy Vick’s program. It’s also possible this program isn’t even in business anymore, but the bottom line is…
I simply don’t trust him because I just know a lot about his history, how he markets and what he delivers. He’s a GREAT marketer, but on the back end, I’ve heard and seen too many disappointing reviews to know better.
He’s not getting my $997 and this is my personal viewpoint, you should decide on your own, but remember, in this review, I will be sharing my personal strategies and I won’t charge you anything for it.
What do I recommend? While I will be sharing my free tips for generating visitors, I do want to note that my tips come from the training in this program and they share a lot more information and training on that:
Just note that in this review, I’ll keep referring to that program over and over because it is a GREAT alternative, not just for Vick’s program/ (yes he has multiple ones), but pretty much any other out there which teaches traffic generation and profiting from it.
Understanding why I don’t trust Vick:
Many years ago, there existed a popular, yet scam MLM program known as Empower Network. Vick happened to be one of it’s most successful promoters. The way he promoted it was that he created his own program outside Empower Network known as Big Idea Mastermind.
In that program he basically pitched it in the same kind of manner as he pitches High Traffic Academy 2.0, that being that he’ll show you how to generate mass visitors easily through master tactics, and that those people will buy and make you good money. So in short, through joining his program, you would be able to become a successful Empower Network Affiliate too.
The price of his program was I believe in the $5,000+ mark, but you could elect to buy it for other less expensive packages. Never the less, that was the first time I had encountered Vick’s name.
Doing a little digging pulled up some sad history about him unfortunately, the most obvious one being that he had legal issues with insurance fraud a few years beforehand, back when his name was actually Vitaly Strizheus (Yes my name is Vitaliy too, but there’s no relation, I assure you).
But I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt…
Despite Vick’s history, I still decided to give his program/s more thorough look and also wanted to believe that perhaps he wasn’t doing that same sort of bad stuff I just explained. People are allowed to change and I am always for that sort of thing.
I’ve made mistakes in my internet marketing career, so I can’t judge this guy badly for the rest of his days for it, we’re all allowed redemption in my personal belief.
But anyway, despite omitting his history and looking into what Vick released later on, I actually learned that there was a very unfortunate trend going on and that was…
Vick would make one program after another with the same kind of theme in teaching people how to generate traffic, charge high for it and then remake a similar program later on with similar things. From what I do remember reading from others, the reviews on his programs were mixed.
So the troubling thing I noticed and came to the conclusion to was that Vick, being a great marketer just kept making one new program after another and hyping up how he would show you how to make money from it with the same line of marketing basically:
Ways to generate high amounts of traffic.
And eventually this message just died out whenever I would see another one of Vick’s programs. I mean think about it, say you joined on of his programs, such as the High Traffic Academy 2.0 and you paid a lot of money to be a member.
Then Vick comes out with a new program and charges more for it. In my opinion it depreciates the value of the old program and the more programs I see made by Vick with the same kind of message being pitched, the less I trust that message.
Most recently, in 2018, he actually made another which I was a brief member of: Four Percent Challenge.
And in regards to that program, check this out:
If you need proof that I know about traffic generation, simply look up the Four Percent Challenge on Google. Guess whose page is ranked #1 organically?
That’s right: Yours truly and here’s proof:
By the way, I’d like to say that with regards to Four Percent Challenge, I sort of liked the training, but knowing what I already knew about Vick, I saw that it would just become a high ticket sales pitch, and I would have to pay tons of money to keep going further in Four Percent Challenge, and thus I left it.
Final Rating: High Traffic Academy 2.0
0 Stars
Red Flag
0 out of 10 stars. So with all these events and research being done, do you see why I’m so skeptical and reluctant to join High Traffic Academy (even if it’s no longer around)?
My final thoughts: Time to share my traffic generating methods:
People seem to think that traffic is a hard thing to get to your website. It definitely can be if you listen to the wrong people. The truth is that it takes work, and smart training to understand.
In my experience there are 2 proven method of generating tons of visitors to your site:
Organic traffic via SEO. This is one of the hardest things to get to your site, but one of the most rewarding. Here’s a snippet of how I do it:
The second is paid ads which get me visitors and while there are social networks you can do this through, I’m personally for using one particular network: Bing Ads. I get charged pennies for HIGH value visitors and clicks and all I do is I create ads and target VERY specific keywords like product reviews.
This always ends up costing me extremely little and gets me a highly relevant visitor each time which results in sales very often. How many clicks do I get, how much do I pay and how well does this work? Here’s an example:
I have used these 2 methods over the years to get any website I make visitors and those visitors are ALWAYS relevant and highly targeted. I honestly think that programs which don’t teach these 2 gold mine ways of doing it are doing their members a disservice
These are still 2 of the best if not the best ways to drive visitors to your site. All you need is the training to show you that and also to work hard to do it:
This is why when I see programs like High Traffic Academy 2.0, what is marketed in it, the price of it and the history of it’s creator, I’ve gotta say NO way.
And that is really the main things I wanted to explain in this review. I’m not going to call Vick’s program a scam, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be recommending it and I believe I stated some good reasons for that.
Update: Since I wrote this review, I’ve also gotten into YouTube Ads and Pinterest Ads, and also am focusing on growing my business through Facebook ads, all MAJOR sources of traffic generation if you know how to use it.
But if you’re just a beginner to traffic generation, let me tell you, free traffic is still the most profitable if you know how to get it and again, my alternative program will show you how to do that (And show you paid ad marketing methods too).

I was a member of Global Affiliate Zone (GAZ) for under 24 hours. I quickly left because of the reasons I’ll explain in this review. Let me explain if it’s a scam.
The great news is that in this review, I’ll actually show you what’s inside this place and offer a video tour (my personal tour) so that you can understand why I left so quickly and sadly, the reasons I given why are good reasons…
Quick Report:
Name: Global Affiliate Zone (Aka GAZ).
Price: $99/month, but there is a 14 day trial in which you can refund this amount and I gladly took that offer after I saw what I saw.
Plus inside the membership there is some sort of sales funnel to join a program called “Enagic” which charges several $1,000 to become a member off and it lets you become an affiliate for it.
Overall Rating:1 out of 10 stars. Compared to the fluff I saw on the sales page, I expected something good from this program and I was surprised and extremely disappointed by what I really saw in there. This review is going to take you inside Global Affiliate Zone and explain my experiences with it…
Recommended? No way. But this is:
What is Global Affiliate Zone (GAZ)?
So I joined this program thinking it would be some sort of training center for becoming a successful affiliate. I assumed I’d learn about making websites, running FB ads and basically learning to create my own online business in topics I’d be interested in.
This is something I’ve come to expect from GOOD programs like this, that offer real training, real value and a good reason for me to pay a monthly membership.
Unfortunately, this program did not meet this standard in my opinion. In fact, in most cases, it was the complete opposite.
My personal video review of Global Affiliate Zone (inside look):
So as you can see, I reviewed this program on this blog and on YouTube. You’re welcome to read/watch both, but essentially both options basically say the same things…
Skipped the video? No problem, here’s my text review from inside GAZ:
Instead of getting high quality training which is what I naturally assumed was going to be the case…what I basically got was this:
It felt like an overwhelming majority of the content within the members area was nothing more than them trying to prepare me to spend more and promote them.
Just hype, questions about how serious I am about making money online, and success stories. Seriously, there’s very little ACTUAL training on being an affiliate within this program.
Note: As an update, I am getting more and more comments from other people below who have tried this program and they seem to pretty much confirm the same experiences I had, which is unfortunate.
Details on what you get inside the program and why it’s not much:
Once you join, here is what they run you through:
Here’s a screenshot of the steps you go through as a member of this place. I marked down (in red) my personal notes and summaries of each area:
So you can see why based on those notes alone, I was very disappointed with the program, but now let me explain the members area screenshot in a bit more detail and how they start you off and what you end up learning:
-A welcome video.
-Then the next step FORCES you to schedule a call with a coach. Not doing so means you can’t unlock the other training.
-Then after the coach call is scheduled, it runs you though a series of 10 questions asking you about how much you want to make and how awesome it will be when you do…
-The coach is supposed to use your answers to make a “plan” with you. By the way, as an actual internet marketing coach myself, I don’t like this system at all! For instance, if you check out my personal coaching offer, I don’t force anyone to go through any specific funnels or high pressure tactics…
-Then you run through another series of videos that are just really talks of success stories and hyped content (no real training).
-Then as you keep going through this, they start pitching this water system, coolant thing and give you some sort of compensation plan. What I though was going to be training on how to be an affiliate marketer turned into some kind of sales pitch for a system I had no interest in and they started talking about how it can cost $1,000’s but you can make a lot, so on and so forth. The type of stuff being pitched at this point in the GAZ sales funnel was entering into a realm of high ticket systems and I stay away from those…
-This optionally leads you to learn more about this side system they are pitching and they discuss the compensation plan behind it.
-And finally, after all of that nonsense is done with, THEN and only then do you get training, and that training is a series of lessons on “everything” Facebook related, ads, fan pages, ect… and that’s basically the program for you.
-And ladies and gentlemen, that’s basically 90% of the content within GAZ, which if not actual training. Why then pay the $99?
-And a quick note on this “forced coaching” stuff, I have had experiences with systems like that before (Super Affiliate Network) where this annoying policy in my opinion existed. I felt that on one hand, it was meant to help me move forward in the GAZ program, but on the other hand, being that it felt like a big push to up-sell me, what could the coach actually teach me?
In short, I feel like I literally just paid GAZ $99 to hear about more opportunities basically…
This is nothing close to what I expected to see from this program. They made their sales page seem like this was a legitimate training system that would help me make internet sales and you know what? Considering their point of view, it actually is.
The problem though is that with a lack of training, the focus on promoting them and that water system, this program quickly becomes one of those systems I have warned people to stay away from because they don’t really teach you much.
You join to basically learn how to make others join them too and then they run through the same funnels I just did. And looking back at the sales page, this would explain why they said they have done for you funnels.
It’s because the system of GAZ is self promotional. You join, you get the ability to promote them, you do, more people join and become members, and you as the affiliate get paid.
You know in some cases, if they offered some sort of good training, that was open ended, I could see reason to give this program extra points, but as of now, it really seems like I’m run through a chain of hyped content with very little value offered, just “opportunity”. That’s something I’ve seen in many scam programs.
Final Rating: Global Affiliate Zone.
Red Flag
1 out of 10 stars. Overall, I was very extremely unhappy about Global Affiliate Zone. It was not what I expected and the stuff inside the members area really made me mad. I also later experienced similar programs like CEO Movement which tried to follow this same selling strategy, but thanks to reviewing and seeing GAZ do this, I didn’t make the same mistake.
Personal thoughts: GAZ is not what a good system is supposed to teach…
When I started this review of GAZ, I had mentioned how good programs that teach making money online and affiliate marketing in general are “supposed to work”. I’ve seen a lot of them and I have more than enough experience and information to know which training programs are worth spending money on and which ones are such that you need to get a refund ASAP and/or stay away from them.
I want to share this experience by offering you an alternative program to GAZ which is quite the opposite in that it does things correctly compared to GAZ. Let me explain:
I’m recommending you try a program called Wealthy Affiliate, which contrary to GAZ actually does do things that a good program is supposed to do (actually teaches you to make money online and doesn’t continually give you hype videos like GAZ).
Let me give you a 7 examples of why WA is levels beyond GAZ:
For starters, the training there is one of the very first things you do when you join. They don’t waste your time and give you hyped videos to give you some false impression. The training straight up gives you the info on how to make money online and gets you started on that.
Secondly, the starting membership is free so you can see that training for yourself. There is no $99 charge or something like that, you can enjoy WA without risk.
Thirdly, there is no FORCED steps for you to do. You are free to browse around the site as you wish, and while I do recommend you do the main training I just discussed, you are still free to check out the site as you like.
Fourth, you don’t have to join some private FB community like in GAZ, once inside WA, there’s a live chat and other options available for you to communicate with people.
Fifth, no scheduled calls with coaches necessary (nothing is forced!).
WA does do coaching, but it’s in coordination with the training there. I for example, give coaching to members, but I don’t require they speak to me. If they have questions, they’re free to ask me anytime.
Sixth, there’s no crazy up-sell into some strange, unrelated water or arbitrary program in GAZ. In WA, you are recommended an upgrade in membership, but you are not pitched some crazy, high ticket stuff.
Seventh and last, there is no nonsense in the form of one hyped video after another which makes up the MAJORITY of the membership in GAZ.
Instead, WA focuses on providing it’s members with actual, valuable training so they can be on their way to make businesses. And on that note, members aren’t forced to promote the WA company, they are free (and the lessons show this) to promote whatever they like.
It is because of these experiences that I’ve determined what a good affiliate program does and when I see GAZ trying to do what it currently does, I know it’s not the place for me. So in short, after seeing all of the things I saw and measuring how invaluable that was to me, I left.
Last thoughts:
I know I sound very angry in this review, but unfortunately I have good reason to be. I really had high hopes for GAZ and really though it would be a good system for making money online. I rarely get to see and review good programs. But GAZ not only under delivered, but it also disappointed me in ways that made me think I really wasted my time there.
I don’t know how you feel, but if you’re a current/former or possibly future member of GAZ, I’d love to know what you think.
